Circular Action Alliance Appoints Jeff Fielkow As Ceo

Circular Action Alliance Appoints Jeff Fielkow as CEO

Industry veteran to lead organization's expansion plans

Washington, D.C.

The Circular Action Alliance (CAA), a Washington-based nonprofit producer responsibility organization, has appointed Jeff Fielkow as its first CEO. Fielkow, currently CEO of ID Images, brings decades of experience in recycling and waste management to the role.

The CAA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit PRO approved to implement Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs for various materials. EPR programs shift the responsibility for managing end-of-life products from local governments and taxpayers to producers.

Under Fielkow's leadership, the CAA plans to roll out a series of fast-paced initiatives to advance EPR in the United States. These initiatives will focus on expanding the organization's membership, developing new EPR programs, and advocating for policies that support a circular economy.

"Jeff is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the recycling industry," said Laurie Valeriano, Chair of the CAA Board of Directors. "His experience and expertise will be invaluable as we work to scale up EPR in the United States and create a more circular economy."

Fielkow said he is excited to join the CAA and lead its efforts to promote EPR. "EPR is a critical tool for reducing waste, increasing recycling, and creating jobs," he said. "I am confident that the CAA can play a major role in advancing EPR in the United States and making a positive impact on the environment."
